This semi-old Gabeh rug is around 50 years old and was woven by the last remaining nomadic tribe of Persia. The Qashqai tribe are based in South Central Persia and they weave their rugs on the move, no set designs are followed and typically they will use the natural un-dyed wool of their flock and add in family, pets, people & trees that they see around them.
